Solör Bioenergy aquired Group Norsk Bioenergi

Solör Bioenergy Group announced today that they have acquired 100% of the shares in Norsk Bioenergi AS.

“Norsk Bioenergi will be a central part in Solör Bioenergy Group ́s further development in Norway, says Martinus Brandal, Chairman & CEO of Solör Bioenergy Group. We are highly committed to continue to grow the combined businesses together with Norsk Bioenergi ́s high performing management within the renewable energy market”, says Brandal. Solør Bioenergy Group have an operation of 69 district heating power plants operated out of 47 municipalities in Norway.

Combined with Solör ́s Norwegian business, the portfolio will have the biggest footprint among bioenergy-based district heating companies in Norway.

The annual contracted delivery of renewable energy in Norsk Bioenergi Group amounts to approx. 180 GWh. The total delivery of renewable energy for Solör Bioenergy Group in Norway amounts to 400 GWh annually.

The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
